  • Gonchar getting his revenge on the dirty hitting machine.
  • Crosby silencing all his critics ( *cough* Puck Daddy and his Philly/D.C. fan club *cough*)
  • A 7th playoff series win over Washington in 8 tries.
  • Another trip to the Eastern Conference Finals.
  • Beating Philly and Washington, our 2 biggest rivals, in the same year.

Hey hockey world, who’s the best player in the world again?

Isn’t it poetic justice that Ovechkin’s reckless hitting turned into a body check on his own linemate? Backstrom could easily have gotten hurt on that play. OV went after Malkin, and Backstrom got just about everything.

That Ovechkin goal at the end is a gift. Fleury has to stop making mistakes behind the net!

What an absolute LASER by Kris Letang. LEGAME!

    We’re also a few minutes away from winning game 7 after losing game 6 for the first time ever!
